What is LEET?
The Lateral Entry Entrance Test (LEET) is a specialized entrance exam that allows diploma holders and candidates with equivalent qualifications to gain direct admission into the second year (third semester) of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) programs in various engineering colleges and universities in India. Purpose of LEET
- To allow diploma holders (in engineering, technology, or related fields) and B.Sc. (Mathematics) graduates to enter the second year of a B.Tech or B.E. program.
- To save one year of study, enabling diploma holders to complete their degree in three years instead of four.
